Editorial Reviews for Bighouse
A grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre blend Very perfumey nose with subtle gamy undertones supporting blue fruits and a snappy Syrah element with a a nice hint of sisal and dried flowers. Nicely balanced in the mouth with a fresh lively feel and intense juicy red berry fruits with hints of spices, cigar box, leather and black pepper adding nice complexity to the black plum fruit on the finish. 86pts
Surprised, and a little concerned, to see a 2006 Rose on sale 3 years later. The wine's still fine, however, with tart citrus flavors which balance the little sugar thats present. Red watermelon is the dominant flavor, although there's a hint of cranberries and shortbread as well.
don't like whites too much and really didn't like this one. the toilet merlot refered to in the movie "let's go to prison" comes to mind.
Not really that great for me. Lots of Mixxed flavors.... short lived on the palet
Very Acidic, Not the flavor I had hoped for. The web Site is fun yet the flavor escapes faster then the ones who bring it to you. I'll let the inmates keep this one.
