To call Big House Red "Fruity" or "Sweet" is slightly misleading. It's less "Fruity" and "Sweet" than most New World wines. It's a New World wine for people that like Old World wine. The wine is complex and interesting for under $10. You can taste Northern Italy, Southern France and Napa.

This is just a fun wine to enjoy. Don't be pretentious. This is just what it claims to be, an eclectic blend of grapes that makes a fruity, slightly sweet table wine. It is a perfect wine for just enjoying with friends who are not caught up on complexity, hints of oak, soil, etc. You will not taste or recognize any of those things. This is a very good wine that is one of my favorites for just drinking and enjoying. I have bought many bottles of this wine, and I will keep coming back. Without sounding demeaning, this is like having a coke in the wine world. Just drink it and smile.

Not so deserving of the title, but it's a good house wine for the price. Velvet and dark chocolate swirls a bit on the palate, but ultimately not a very deep wine. The finish is soft and well pronounced.

Lots of artificial spice, pepper, and sour cherry in the aromas. Jammy berry and cherry palate. Spicy aftertaste. Not memorable.

    Excellent everyday drinking wine.

A very popular red blend with loads of fruit and firm acidity. Consistently lovely, this is a great wine for parties: just about everyone loves it.

This big, powerful red wine is made from too many varietals to name, but they all bring something to the table. It tastes jammy and fresh in acidity, with berry, cherry, spice and earthy flavors.

A big fruit bomb. Flavors and aromas of loganberries and raspberries are pushed along by mild tannins. The finish is rich and flavorful with a touch of spice.

This is their newest addition and it is the perfect summer wine. A light, refreshing rosé filled with berry fruit, cinnamon, and floral notes while finishing dry on the palate.

    Winemaker's Notes:

This Big House Red lives up to that old Fruit Bomb moniker that youve come to expect. It starts with a nose full of blackberries and raspberries, with hints of leather and spices. The palate is clean, exhibiting flavors of cranberries, roses and a touch of rhubarb. This finish lingers, with flavors of vanilla and a touch of dark cherries in the finish.
