Winemaker's Notes:

GOLD MEDAL - Decanter World Wine Awards This is one of the newest estates on the Greek scene but with some old hands at the tiller. Evangelos Geravassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsalis are two of the best white wine makers in Greece. These are cutting edge, world-class wines. The vineyards are based in Kavala, the second largest city in the north of Greece, where the excellent soil and microclimate provide long growing seasons. Vintage: 2010 Grapes: 50% Semillon, 50% Assyrtiko Region: Kavala, Macedoni, Greece Notes: Light yellow with a green hue, enticing aromas of peach and vanilla with a burst of fresh grapefruit and minerals. Wonderful weight and added texture on the palate with notable minerality. A tropical version of a white Graves Serve: Chicken, creamy pasta, risotto
