Betts & Scholl Riesling Barossa Valley 2009

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

A lovely nose that blend citrus, lime blossom and apricot notes with machine oil notes. In the mouth this is quite rich yet very acid driven and dry. It's starts of with a rather grapefruity attack that is cut by assertive and mouthwatering mineral tones before yielding to a lime cream tone on the finish that is picking up the inherent sweetness of the fruit. Tons of detail here but it is a very dry style and very tautly wound at the moment. This will improve with a year or two in the bottle. 91pts

Elegant, complex, and balanced wine of great parfume and finesse with the power to seduce. Total harmony with food, an essential part of the meal.
