I agree with Wine.com's review. The bouquet was very rich full of dried fruit and spices. It reminded me of a berry fruitcake! The best part was how full and smooth this wine was in the mouth. Nice finish. This was a unique experience to taste something so bold yet so smooth!

These wines taste like no others - you know you are drinking Amarone and wines from the Veneto region when you taste Bertani's wines. Smoky cedar laces black plum and dried cherry fruit, with an earthy note that emerges on the moderate, spicy finish.
