Bernardus Winery Pinot Noir Monterey County 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes This Pinot has a deep, dark robe. Aromas are redolent with ripe and jammy red fruits, accented by toasty oak nuances. On the palate, we find a very full, soft velvety texture supporting the flavors of ripe plum and candied black cherry. Finish is long and satiny smooth, ending with notes of wood and spice.

Bernardus Winery & Vineyard:
The focus of Bernardus is to create wines that flatter the palate and stimulate the imagination. Our Marinus Estate Bordeaux-style red wine is the centerpiece of Ben Pon's dream. It is complemented by Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc from cool coastal climate vineyards. We also offer limited bottlings of small production and vineyard designate wines, which are available exclusively through the tasting room and wine club...taste a dream.

"Our 2007 Pinot exhibits a beautifully deep garnet color with intense aromas redolent with ripe black cherry and plum and lots of Pinot spice
