What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Fresh aromas of Meyer lemon and delicate vanilla. Zesty lemon, peach and apricot flavors with crisp acidity and a hint of toasted oak. An enjoyable Chard that is perfectly matched to shellfish. -Wine News

The resulting wine is a perfect expression of Monterey Chardonnay. Aromas are expressive of ripe tropical fruits with notes of creme brulee. The palette is rich with flavors of apple, pear and exotic fruits which linger on the long, creamy finish. 90 Points Rich and layered, with a complex range of fig, citrus, green apple and hints of tropical fruit folding together. Gains depth, ending with a long, fruit-driven finish. Drink now through 2011. Wine Spectator Fresh aromas of Meyer lemon and delicate vanilla. Zesty lemon, peach and apricot flavors with crisp acidity and a hint of toasted oak. read more...
