Originating from a family of winemakers in Cravant, Bernard Baudry started his career as a wine consultant in a laboratory in Tours, working alongside Jacques PUISAIS, after having studied oenology in Beaune. After 5 years of gaining experience he decided to start up his own business in 1975 with 2 hectares of vines.

Aromas of dark plum, cocoa, forest floor and briar. Solid and muscular, with deep minerality, firm tannins, and an impressive finish.
WS 92pts. - According to the Wine Spectator: This is really brisk and pure, with piercing damson plum, cherry pit and red currant fruit notes that race along a fine, chalky spine. The finish is unadorned and very long. Great cut and drive. Drink now through 2015. 50 cases imported.
