Bernard Baudry Chinon Franc de Pied 2009
What a deep, dark red should be! Its aroma is that of a barnyard. On the pallet it feels like liquid velvet - perfectly balanced tannins, rich, smooth, with no bitterness or bite. Will drive far and wide to find this wine.Add winemaker's notes
Originating from a family of winemakers in Cravant, Bernard Baudry started his career as a wine consultant in a laboratory in Tours, working alongside Jacques PUISAIS, after having studied oenology in Beaune. After 5 years of gaining experience he decided to start up his own business in 1975 with 2 hectares of vines.
