Beringer Vineyards Zinfandel St. Helena White Zinfandel 2009
One of the most uncomplicated and versatile wines, Beringer White Zinfandel is wonderful for just about any occasion. While its mellow flavors of summer berries, citrus and melon refresh the palate, hints of nutmeg and clove spices keep it interesting. It's no wonder this wine is a crowd favorite!Cheese Pairings: New York 5-Year Cheddar, Monterey JackFood Pairings: Asian Grilled Chicken, Ham, Hamburger with Tomato Barbecue Sauce
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
On a few of the hottest days of summer this one satisfies the soul. It's sweet, simple, innocent, and full of fresh strawberries. It's probably the only type of wine I ever drink with ice cubes. It was especially good when I had made a beef stock and I was left with the bones in the bottom of the pot. They(the bones) were left with a gelatin layer infused with the spirit of the marrow after hours of being boiled. As a meal, such fare would soon become overrich, but it paired perfectly with this beringer rose wine on a scorching day. The memories are good ones.
You can't go wrong with this wine it is THE best!
I didn't feel like it had much of a taste to it. Though for the price it was a nice, but very sweet wine
This is a great wine. It is sweet so if you are not a fan of sweet wines then it is not for you. However it is one of the best wines I have ever had.
Nice colour, pleasant smell of berries. Sweet, but not too sweet, very easy to drink, quite enjoyable wine. You could get really drunk with this if you're not careful, its friendly nature and 10% alcohol content will keep you refilling. It's not interesting enough to warrant a higher score but I don't think there is anything wrong with this wine. I enjoyed it and I would buy it again as an everyday wine.
Very sweet. Not full of taste.
Not too bad as a dessert wine, a bit on the sweet side

The nose has lovely floral notes that are reminiscent of the wonderfully refreshing Spumantes of Italy, with citrus and strawberry fruit nuances. The palate begins with a nice, classic mousse mouthfeel, and strawberry, brown spice and citrus flavors interplay with a refreshing acidity that carries everything into a long, delicious finish.
