Wine Enthusiast ReviewThe warm vintage rewarded this dessert wine, yielding incredibly ripe fruit. Barrelfermented, this blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc was picked at 35% of sugar, and has a residual sweetness of 12.1 grams. The wine is tremendous in apricot jam, pineapple tart, vanilla custard and crme brulee flavors, with gorgeously balancing, clean acids and a rich, honeyed finish.Wine Tasting NotesA blend of Semillion and Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Beringers Bale Lane Vineyard makes for a beautiful lush and jammy apricot and vanilla flavors. It is sweet and tasty, perfect for dessert.

Winemaker's Notes:

Honey-soaked apricots, hazelnuts and spicy oak are just some of the seductive aromas and flavors in the Nightingale. Its golden hue and lush mouthfeel give way to rich flavors of stone fruit and artisanal honey. Whether paired with a cheese course or rich dessert, Nightingale is a special and unique way to end a meal.
