Right out of the bottle, I thought this one smelled pretty good. The first taste was only kind of "blah", but by the third I'd warmed to it already. This one was really smooth--with almost no "alcohol burn" or acidity.

Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes Temperatures are kept cool throughout fermentation and just before the wine reaches dryness, winemakers bring it down even further, capturing the fresh white peach and fragrant honey character. The resulting wine has heady aromas of citrus and orange blossom leading in to rich flavors of stonefruit and spice. Reviews Semi-dry and spicy, this is a solid California gewürztraminer, balanced between sweetness and just enough acidity to make it a good aperitif wine-so long as you like the distinctive quality of gewürztraminer. Wine Discoveries, September/October 2005
