Beringer Vineyards Chardonnay "Stone Cellars" Wit Verenigde Staten 2008
94 points Robert Parker: The 2008 Chardonnay Private Reserve continues the success Beringer has enjoyed with this program. Notes of brioche, hazelnut, marmalade, honeyed tropical fruits, buttered citrus, and a gentle touch of smoke are found in this full-bodied, concen- trated wine with impressive purity, depth, and length. It should drink well for 4-5 years.

Quaffing wine - with fish, pork or a late Spring Saturday afternoon. This is certainly NOT a tradtional French thing and that's just fine - it's bright, a little acidic, balanced and refreshing. I plan to make three or four really big cork board one day!
A beautiful California style chardonnay--I do not think there are any better at this price. Some may not find this much oak attractive, but there is ample fruit to balance it and lend complexity on the nose and palate.
Ok so I have never really had much wines but I'm trying them out. Although this wine I didn't like, and we never finished the bottle. Maybe I'll try it again after I try more kinds.

Appealing for its supple and easygoing flavors and tasty sweet pear and spicy tropical fruit. Drink now.
To impart highlights of vanilla, caramel and nutmeg, Ron barrel fermented and aged 70 percent of the Chardonnay in French and American oak barrels (20 percent new) for eight months. Fermenting the remainder in stainless steel maintained a bright, fresh fruit balance. The resulting wine has ripe pear and pineapple, and mango flavors highlighted by citrus, Granny Smith apple and hints of baking spices.
There are 10,000 cases of the 2003 Chardonnay Private Reserve, which has pulled back on the oak. Revealing more minerality as well as restraint, it comes across as a medium to full-bodied, bold, tropical fruit-dominated effort with a subtle oak component. It should drink well for 3-4 years.

The 2008 Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon shows youthful characters of fresh blackberry, black cherry and blueberry, and has bright characteristics of blackberry and blueberry aromas, accented by notes of toast, graphite, cedar and brown spices.
Your basic inexpensive California Chard: fruity, creamy and light, with pleasant peach, pineapple and apricot flavors finished with a touch of spicy oak.
