Beringer Vineyards Chardonnay Private Reserve(2004)

A blend of Beringer’s northernmost Chardonnay vineyards – this chardonnay is a mixture of the most expressive lots and blended to create an intensely aromatic and flavorful wine featuring citrus, tropical notes of fresh pineapple and mango, crème brulée, brown spice and butterscotch that come together for a seamlessly long, plush finish. This wine is truly the chardonnay lover’s chardonnay!

my favorite chardonnay for the last 9 years, rich full bodied buttery oaky with tropical fruit.

On the first sip is seems promising and enjoyable, like a really good wine, on the second you start to reconsider, on the third you're done with it. Too heavy, doesn't fit my personal taste. [84]

heavy on the butter and the toasted oak. There was even a bit of wheat and coffee in the nose. My best friend really enjoyed it, while I was overwhelmed by the oak.
