The wine that made Knights Valley famous. This has been even better in recent vintages than when it began, and it has remained consistent with a ripe, soft, appealing style.

Lots of Currant, Cherry on the nose with a vibrant mid palette. Really full. Has a bit of a short finish

Superb Cab Sauv, wonderful, balanced, full-bodied with medium (at opening) to low notes (as it continues to open up). ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries and blackberries, oaky, cocoa, pepper and smokiness. flavor gets better n more complex by the end of the bottle, with smooth finish and very good length. a thoroughly enjoyable wine for such a reasonable price.

Number 77 on the Wine.com 100 of 2007! Knights Valley is a very special place for us at Beringer. As you drive over themountain from St. Helena, the valley opens up before your eyes and you immediatelyfeel transported to another time, where things are slower and more rustic. This winecaptures that place with great intensity of black fruit aromas and flavors that continueto a long satisfying finish. -Laurie Hook, Winemaker To maintain the unique characteristics of the different lots from varying areas of thevineyard, Laurie kept them all separate through vinification and aging.
