Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley 2009
91 points Wine Spectator: A lot of Cabernet at this price. Combines ripe, plump, plum, black cherry and black berry flavors in a rich, smooth, polished style, full bodied and firming nicely on the finish, where the tannins have a minerally edge. Drink now through 2021. (Dec 2011) 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
Very pleasant cab as it it introduced to the palate. Maybe a tad more fruity than a lot of California Cabernets. Flavors include blackbery or maybe black cherry. Very sedate tannins would make this wine attractive to a lot of people. US$16.99 at Costco a year ago.
Very nice, smooth cabernet, worth a re-buy (if I have to)
Two and a half glasses

Notes of blackberry, dried herbs, and star anise balanced with distinct, rich tannins.
Dark cherry meets oak tannins in this firm, juicy red. Therersquo;s youthful tension in the tannins, robust and a bit coarser in this vintage than is typical for this wine. Itrsquo;s generous, simple and warm, a steakhouse pour.

This winersquo;s juicy, sour cherry flavors are plumped up and enriched by the chocolatey tannins of new oak. Itrsquo;s a full-bodied red thatrsquo;s clean and sweet.
A good, rich Cabernet for drinking now and over the short term. Itrsquo;s dry and full-bodied, and if itrsquo;s a little heavy, the blackberry, currant, butter and cedar flavors are delicious.
Aromas of cherry, anise and cocoa are followed by abundant flavors of dark cherry and a hint of spice. The soft, mouth-coating tannins are highlighted by the blend's juicy fruit core. - Winery ** SOLD OUT **
