Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

My Rating : 92. What a wine !! nice nose with vanilin notes. Body well balanced with fine grain tannins and nice fruit and complexity. I bought it for $ 12 on sale. I guess it's more like $ 20 now.

I thought this was a great wine with some mineral to it. Kind of a dirty leather taste. It was nice and clean with a deep color. The finish had a little more fruit to it.

The 2009 vintage is chock full of plum, loganberry and black cherry flavors. Hints of tea, cocoa and cassis aromas snare the olfactory while a well supported mid palate gives way to a polished, soft finish.

Ripe black fruit notes on the palate are accented by dried herb, spicy tobacco and a slight vanilla essence. An enticing, solidly structured mid-palate gives way to a long, soft finish.
