Jammy raspberry nose with firmly structured wood backbone. Great pinot noir as expected from this producer and this area!
An impudent little wine. If it were a child I'd slap it and send it to bed without dinner.
Fruit-driven with bright cherry and strawberry notes. Slight cola. Nice silky mouth-feel bordering on a full-bodied wine. Hints of mushroom, gamey meats. Wouldn't call this an overly-sophisticated pinot, just an enjoyable glass of wine. So enjoyable I drank the whole bottle....

Medium red. A real fruit bomb on the nose, with aromas of raspberry and strawberry preserves. Very sweet but also vivid, and nicely framed by brisk acids that lift the red fruit flavors. Finishes sappy and long. This boasts good purity and freshness, especially for the year.
Broad, round and generous with its spicy plum, red pepper and toasty spice flavors, lingering nicely on the cinnamon-scented finish. Drink now through 2010.
This wine is a blend of seven different clones of Pinot Noir, grown on estate vineyards in the southern Willamette Valley. The diversity of clones produces a more interesting wine with depth of character. The hot growing season in 2003 resulted in a "big" Pinot Noir with a dark ruby color, and aromas of ripe black plums, dark berries, currants, and cassis framed by sweet and spicy oak notes. The concentrated, ripe berry fruit on the mid-palate is balanced by lively acidity. This wine shows the firm backbone formed by ripe tannins that will provide the structure needed for graceful aging. The finish is long and succulent.
Light and immensely appealing for its delicacy and suppleness, offering pretty raspberry and strawberry flavors that pick up hints of white pepper and fresh mushroom as the finish sails on. Drink now through 2009.
Light and fragrant, with an earthy edge to the modest berry and orange peel flavors. Drink now.
Definitely on the light side, this snappy young wine has a lot of appeal. It's racy and bright, mixing raspberry and cranberry fruit with an earthy base of clay and sod. Additional, unusual flavors of spiced meat come in towards the finish, which shows good persistence.
Bright ruby-red. Black raspberry and cherry-cola on the nose, with complicating notes of juniper, tobacco and musky herbs. Plush red and dark berry compote flavors provide very good palate coverage. Gains sweetness with air and picks up hints of sassafras and licorice pastille, finishing with very good cling and fine-grained tannins. This is approachable now but has the depth and structure to suggest that it will reward some patience.
