Benoit Ente, brother of Arnaud, began his own operation in 1998 though because he sold his first two vintages to the négoces, his first actually release was in 1999. (A Becky Wasserman Selection/Le Serbet, Beaune, France - sbw@leserbet.com , Carolina Wine Company, NC; Morris & Verdin, UK). A background touch of wood frames spicy, airy and fresh aromas that complement perfectly the round but racy mineral-infused flavors and good punch on the moderately long finish. This would make a perfect summer sipping or picnic wine as it's very refreshing.
