A product under the Caymus Vineyards umbrella. Picked this wine up for our 4 year anniversary dinner and the girlfriend and I/we loved it. Right out of the bottle, what a bright and vibrant nose of ripe cherry, plum and spices. In the mouth we found a lot of sweet cherry, red berry, fall spices and rich caramel. The last glass of the bottle revealed quite a bit of vanilla considering the short time she spent in French oak. I was worried it would be a tad young but it drank well with just enough acid and heat to complement our pork porterhouse with gingered jewel yams with heirloom apple coulis, shaved fennel and tangerine. Can drink now or wait 4-6 years. I cant wait to try the Sonoma and Sta. Lucia versions, or the '06s and '07s.

Firm and well-structured, with a ripe, rich, concentrated mix of wild berry, blueberry and strawberry flavors, with scents of wild flowers. Full-bodied, complex and layered on the finish. Drink now through 2017.

Just luscious, such a good, complete wine. Perfectly structured, its intricate acid-tannin-oak architecture captures delicate cherry, plum, pomegranate and cola flavors. Not a power-packed ager, just a gorgeous Pinot to drink now.

Tremendously rich and ripe, this Pinot just dazzles the palate with waves of raspberries, cherries, cocoa, red licorice, bacon and other intense umami flavors. Itrsquo;s dry and silky, but the drawback is excessive softness.

A combination of both rich fruit and spice is found in the 2005 Pinot Noir Clark and Telephone Vineyard. Notes of sweet plums, cherries, currants, loamy soil, and herbs are found in both the aromas and medium to full-bodied flavor profile.

This spectacular Pinot, which defines its South Coast terroir, is a great wine. The extracted fruit is massive, flooding the palate with cherries and raspberries, and the wine is well-oaked. Yet it combines its power with regal grace, which is what Pinot is supposed to do. Finishes with a silky, velvety harmony. Really an eye-opening wine, superb in every respect.

Belle Glos is a super premium Pinot Noir produced by none other than Caymus Vineyards and the striking red wax capsule is a statement to the exceptional character of this wine. The Wagner family purchased prime vineyard property in the several Pinot Noir hot spots including this vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley. The Wine Spectator scored it 91 points saying "Firm and well-structured, with a ripe, rich, concentrated mix of wild berry, blueberry and strawberry flavors, with scents of wild flowers. Full-bodied, complex and layered on the finish. Drink now through 2017." Limited!
