Dense, dark garnet color. Aromas of juicy dark fruit, moist soil, vanilla and coco burst out of the glass. The palate is so rich that it can almost be chewed on. Flavors of pie filling, plum, cured meats and root beer enliven the senses. This wine has structural integrity with great depth. The balanced acidity leads to a provocatively supple finish.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Saturated ruby. Complex nose offers cherry-cola, black raspberry, vanilla and dried rose. Sweet, primary flavors of dark berry compote and cherry skin, along with a suggestion of black tea. Dense, sappy, palate-coating dark fruit flavors gain energy and spiciness with air. Finishes with supple tannins and very good length, leaving vanilla and oak spice notes behind.

Belle Glos is a super premium Pinot Noir produced by none other than Caymus Vineyards and the striking red wax capsule is a statement to the exceptional character of this wine. The Wagner family purchased prime vineyard property in the Santa Lucia Highland, famous for bold, distinctive Pinot Noir. Their Las Alturas Vineyard is a mere 15 acres and the sandy loam soils provide good drainage and yields are kept under two tons per acre. In this high altitude coastal enclave the carefully selected clones ripen slowly, developing rich, intensive flavors. Harvest wasn’t complete until mid October. After a de-stemming and a cold macerating the grapes ferment in controlled temperatures and the wine is aged 9 months in 60% new French oak barrels. The nose shows a rich perfume of strawberry, sugar plums, licorice and vanilla. There’s a core of fruit that pervades the palate of this deeply colored Pinot. The flavors unfold boldly showing strawberry, raspberry, black plums, star anise and vanilla. Grandson, Joseph Wagner is the winemaker. The Wine Spectator scored it 92 points saying "Bold, rich and layered, exhibiting dense dark berry fruit that shows touches of spice, wild berry and blackberry, with attractive floral scents. Full-bodied, this expands on the finish, where the flavors fan out. Best from 2012 through 2020."
