Belisario Verdicchio Verdicchio di Matelica 2007

External Review by Sam's Wine:

Nice in every way: perfect, delicate aroma of lemon peel and minerals; lean, crisp structure but with good weight nonetheless; delicious flavors of lemon curd, melon, white pepper and pineapple. A sip finishes with great, zesty acidity (the wine is very dry) that would be a great clean-up for fish, creamy pasta, roast chicken or firm, aged cheeses such as Beaufort or Pecorino. Bill St. John
