- I came across this wine at new wine bar that recently opened in my hometown of Carpinteria. I bought it because it was under twenty dollars, and the story sold me. "The Grenache attacks the frong palate and fills the aromatics with bright berry fruit, the Mourvedre and Syrah fill the mid-palate, and finnish darkening the fruit, adding spice, while the Counoise provides a supple silky texture. Yum!! Most story lines are bs as far as I'm concerned but this one delivers. Try it. Very moderate tannins and a bit of sweet very subtle smoke with lots of berry fruit.
