Beaux Freres "The Beaux Freres Vineyard" Oregon Red 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

This Pinot Noir is a medium ruby with very sweet strawberry and cherry fruit. The 2001 Belles Soeurs has a velvety texture and very low acidity, excellent purity and concentration as well as a gentle silky finish. For French wine enthusiasts, we think that our 2001 Belles Soeurs is reminiscent of a Premier Cru from Morey St. Denis. Anticipated maturity: Now-2007

Firm, tangy and generous with its black cherry, raspberry and white pepper flavors, wrapped in a fine layer of crisp tannins and citrusy acidity, all of it holding together nicely through a lively finish. Drink now through 2006. 2,114 cases made. (HS... Wine Spectator. A Pinot Noir wine from Oregon in USA. 2001 Beaux Freres Pinot Noir Belles Soeurs 1500ml
