Vivid ruby. Heady assertively perfumed bouquet evokes blackberry and cherry preserves with notes of vanilla cola and sandalwood emerging with air. Juicy penetrating and lively on the palate offering sweet dark fruit and orange zest flavors along with hints of cola and spicecake. Finishes smoky and sweet with slow-building tannins and a suave floral pastille quality. Stephen Tanzers IWC.
Perhaps the most collectible Pinot Noir in America, Beaux Freres has set a standard that few can match. A partnership between renowned wine critic Robert Parker and his brother-in-law, the winery produces only Pinot Noir. This is one of their strictly allocated single vineyard offerings. Wine Spectator scored it 94 points and said "This light and fragrant red is deftly balanced, allowing the cinnamon- and pepper-accented cherry and raspberry flavors to step forward with presence and depth. The wine lingers with intensity and weightlessness, showing tremendous integrity and potential. Drink now through 2020." Extremely Limited!
