A very interesting nose with the red fruit fighting with a slight mushroom and smoke aroma. On the palate it is very smooth but with good acidity and a bit smoky finish.

A superb Premier Cru red Burgundy from a family domain that dates back to the 1940’s. It has never received wide acclaim, but Robert Parker in his Burgundy book writes “My experience with all the red wines from this estate (particularly the Beaune Les Bressandes and Beaune Les Greves) has been very positive.” The entire production is carried out with great care. Fermentation is in traditional wooden vats and the wine is unfined and only lightly filtered. The 2002 vintage in Burgundy was excellent and this wine shows a beautiful refinement and elegance. These wines are known to develop exceptionally well in your cellar for as much as 20 or more years. Grab it now while it’s ON SALE!
