Great value easy to drink with food(stands up to fairly hearty meals/grilled meats/pizza) or alone.
Cherry, spice and oak. Bold yet balanced. Great with meat, or a good sharp cheddar.
2005 13.5% ABV 65% Cabernet Sauvignon 19% Merlot 9% Malbec 4% Petit Verdot 3% Cabernet Franc 750mL $9.98 Rich, deep purple and blood red in color. A little hot, notes of spice and fruit. Berries, oak, spice and leather with a nice tannic finish.
It takes a couple sips to figure this wine out, but then you end up with rich flavors of crushed blackberries, hint of mocha, and a touch of spice. Very good wine. Wasn't expecting this from BV since we are not fans of their wines. CP.
