Although a beaujolais tastes almost like an aged Gamay. Chewy, fruity, savory, and earthy balanced wine, uniquely balanced. Nose of perfume, sweet leather, gummy fruit candy, and red fruit. In the mouth mildly sweet, savory (meaty), plummy, and red berry with a mild leather and fruit finish. Slightly and pleasantly astringent/sour. Balanced and not excessively fruity. Great QPR.
