Tasting Notes: Situated in the heart of the Beaujolais region, we suggest to enjoy this fresh and fruity red wine made from the gamay grape between 11 and 15° celcius. Tasting notes: appearance sparkling cherry red. Nose of red fruit, rasberry, red currant, strawberry and mulberry depending on the year. Harmonious palate, delicate and full bodied at the same time, subtle with well balanced freshness. Can be served with the typical "Mâchon Beaujolais" made of Lyonnaise style pork butcheries and fresh bred. Percentage Grape: 100% gamay Soil: sandy-silty granitic Date of Harvest: mid-September Type of Harvest: mecanic Vinification Length: 5-8 days Vinification Method: short fermentation, semi-carbonic with whole grapes. Vinification Temperature: max. 25° celcius Malolactic: yes Bottle Type: Elena Alcohol Percentage: 12.5 % Aging Potential: 3 to 4 years Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l
