I liked this wine. Fruity berries and loads of raspberries, a favorite of mine, with a little bit of a spicy cinnamon. A medium lingering finish for a smooth ending.

Beau Vigne's vineyard sits atop Stag's Leap in the Foss Valley, producing a small intense berries full of blackberry, currant and tobacco leaf. Characteristics of the rocky soil and terroir are similiar to those of the Paulliac region of France. The owners of Beau Vigne are Ed & Trish Snider. Ed’s family has been making wine in Italy for several hundred years. The "Garzoli" family made wine for the "Dodg" of Florence. This was a very prestigious position and Ed felt the pull to make a great wine. Beau Vigne is truly a life’s passion. So the Garzoli tradition of winemaking continues. The winemaker Dave Phinney is a hot new winemaker. He makes Mercury Head, The Prisoner, Beau Vigne amongst others. He is a rising star who was trained at Opus One and at Whitehall Lane. He has the background necessary to develop Beau Vigne’s French Clone 337 into a big complex Cabernet.

Beau Vigne Juliet Cabernet Sauvignon Napa This is our 3rd vintage of this magnificent Stag's Leap Cabernet. Made from tiny berries the Juliet is a gorgeously lush, delicious wine with ideal balance of density and liveliness. Irresistible
