Mildly interesting Pinot Noir-- a little on the thin side in terms of mouth feel and also flavor intensity. Just doesn't compare to the Washington and Oregon PNs. Also, what a goofy label! Anybody else getting increasingly annoyed with the vacuous nonsense people are putting on the back of a bottle?

Nose of cherry, first mouth feel is thin, but packed with cherry, strawberry, touch of vanilla, and meat. Finishes with very crisp acidity and hint of tannins. I think this still has some bottle age left and would love to have a few to put down for 2 years.

This is a very good pinot noir, pairs nicely with pork chop/loin. It has a smooth finish. I enjoyed letting it rest on my tongue for a few seconds to thoroughly enjoy the finish.

This wine was really crisp and had just the right amount of spice. It's not very sweet, and the fruit flavors seemed to suggest dried berries, concentrated a bit and lacking sugar. The tannins balance well, slightly acidic, and soft mouth feel. Had with BBQ chicken. Yum.

Winemaker Notes - Bearboat Pinot Noir was aged for ten months in French oak and carefully fined before its release. While the color is a brilliant red reminiscent of black cherries, the nose offers hints of warm toast and cassis. Bearboat Pinot Noir has a mouth of fresh strawberries and raspberries while delicate suggestions of black licorice enhance the lingering finish. Bearboat Pinot Noir promises to be an exquisite addition to your table.

Clear pale ruby color with pronounced strawberry, and bing cherry aromas. Delicate body, well balanced acidity and lingering finish of strawberries and hint of vanilla spice. -95% Pinot Noir, 5% Old Vine Gamay Beaujolais Grapes are 100% cool climate Russian River with 50% hillside fruit, which yields concentrated fruit rich in flavor and tannin. Yields are kept low at approximately 3 tons/acre. Fruit is harvested by hand in small containers with the philosophy that higher attention to detail yields higher quality.

Rich, deep flavors of roasted blackberries, sweet red currants, grilled beef, bacon, pepper and sandalwood in this silky wine. The rich, spiky tannins and crisp acidity will play well against a charred steak. Now-2013. S.H.
