Baywood Cellars Pinot Noir Grand Reserve(2004)

This classy Pinot Noir offers black raspberries, cassis and ripe cherry on the nose. It has bright fruit, medium to full body and outstanding texture. This Pinot Noir is versatile and can complement seafood to filet mignon.

Color: light for a pinot noir, very bright orange undertones

Nose: cherry fundip, grape soda, skittles, vanilla, white flour, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream

Flavor Profile: blueberries, overripe berries and fruits, sort of like a light fruit bomb. finishes long with hints of cocoa and oak (more like bourbon oak than wine oak). light tannins.

good structure, silky smooth texture. good balance between acid and fruit. a little too hot, but just barely.

this is some pretty good juice.
