Batasiolo Dolcetto D' Alba DOC 2008
Wine Tasting Notes Ruby red, tending towards violet reflections. Vinous, pleasant and fruity. Rich, full, mellow flavor from which emerges an elegant, slightly sharp but not unpleasant taste with a well-balanced body. It goes very well with tajarin, home-made pasta from the Langhe, and hot hors-doeuvres.
Dark ruby red color with purple tints. It is medium-bodied and well-structured with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Aromas of plum and licorice, with a smooth fruity black cherry taste. This wine is meant to drink young. To fully enjoy this wine it should be served at 60-64 F. It has a 13% alcohol content level.
it was a very nice wine enjoyed every sip would recomend to anyone looking for an everyday wine to a wine for a fancy super .
I think this is a good table wine for every day. It starts out smooth, is medium bodied, and finishes on the dry side. Not bad for under less than $10!
