First off...let me say that I am not a wine connoisseur! I own an eBay store in South Jersey and a client of mine brought in a box of 12 assorted wines that he wanted to sell! You cannot sell wine on eBay...Hence, I am trying to find out the value for this bottle of wine ( Barton & Guestier Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1988). Thank you in advance for any help. Sincerely, Andrew Palermo

Winemaker's Notes:

De-stalked grapes – alcoholic fermentation at high temperature (30 to 35°C) with daily rack and return – aging on lees for 9 months with controlled oxidation.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Garnet red with purple highlights. Nose: Intense and complex combining morello cherries, tobacco, delicate moka and liquorice aromas. Palate: A lovely wine, with a well balanced tannic structure and a long fruity and spicy aftertaste.
