Barros Porto Tawny NV

Member Review by tommyvino:

A light see through hue of brickish-orange, a subdued nose of cinnamon, clove, brown sugar, and honey. Ripe figs and dried cherries too. Sweet, medium to full bodied, with bright juicy acidity, very soft tannins, and medium + length on the finish. The palate is intense though lacking in complexity, it did have a bit of spiciness on the finish. Another good entry level tawny that won't blow you away but for the price point $15 US I'd you use it to make mixed drinks or again drink chilled in the afternoon. 3/5
