I thought this wine was fairly enjoyable. I found notes of cherry on the nose, with a nice red fruit flavour, as the label so eloquently describes. Generally, I recommend this wine as a nice accompaniment for dinner with friends. Especially at this price point, how can you go wrong?

I came across this 10 euro find while perusing at Enoteca Guerrini in my hometown of Rome. Brought it home to a homemade lasagna featuring, oddly enough, Ikea Swedish meatballs. The two hit it off well! I failed to pick up any cherry or fruity notes, and found it slightly dry and woodsy. My wife detects currant, but keep in mind that she put Swedish meatballs in Italian lasagna. I think I took the last bottle from Guerrini, but will continue to seek it out nonetheless.

I totally agree with Jonesa3. With this price point, its the finest with the the bordeax region. I'm from Vancouver, and I tried most, i mean MOST, of the the 10-30$ price range bordeax wine. Most of them aren't enjoyable, but where as Baron Philippe De Rothschild, is cheap, and enjoyable. I will for sure buy this everytime I look for French inexpensive red wine =)
