Very dark ruby color; rich and generous wine with a forward and complex bouquet of young plum and cherry fruit with subtle hints of black and bell peppers. Serve this wine with strong cheeses, beef, veal and game birds such as duck and pheasant.

A very engaging nose of ripe black fruits and spice suggests a much more expensive red wine. The flavors are fresh and young, with plenty of red currants and Santa Rosa plum. A lovely wine to serve with red meats of any kind.
