Barnyard aroma, w/ distinct tobacco and tomato. Hana Choi said it was smoky and had a nice long finish.

I absolutely loved this wine. I got it about a year ago and kept it in storage for a year. This is what I imagined a Gran Reserva would taste like. Great fruit flavors - structure the whole way through, with balanced spice flavors not in competition with the fruit, but layering with it. The oak tannins must help with the balance the whole way through, because it was smooth and lasting. If this is a splurge, and you like Spanish wines, this one is worth it. Or, this will show you what Spanish wines have to offer.
