Elegant Bouquet; Supple Body; Good Balance

Deep garnet color. The bouquet is surprisingly elegant; it is fairly intense and complex with aromas of concentrated red fruits and a touch of anise and fresh roasted coffee. It is full bodied yet soft on the palate with ripe, juicy fruit flavors. The tannins are well integrated and provide structure without being harsh or astringent. The finish is moderate with a slightly smoky, peppery taste. This wine is drinking very nicely right now and will age for another 3 years. Serve with simple winter food such as roast beef, casseroles or pasta read more...

Supple; Smooth Textured; Aging Potential

Dark garnet color. Great nose of red berries, leather and coffee. Medium bodied, supple, smooth textured with plenty of ripe fruit, and a slight peppery and smoky aroma (due to Syrah). Low tannins and medium length. Very enjoyable with food (all meat dishes or cheeses). Can be cellared for 3 to 5 years. Elegant presentation.
