Winemaker's Notes:

Why? Barnett has become an "insider's Cult" favorite since they were featured in The Wine Spectator as Jim Laube's "#1 Spring Mountain red", a BIG compliment considering this winerys neighbors on Spring Mountain include Pride and Cain Five! Porthos Insider Scoop: This winery is famous for crafting "monster" Cabernets that are relatively 'tight' upon release but evolve into exquisitely balanced wine experiences. Tastes? Everything about this wine is massive and built to last with strong & plush tannins, ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and hint of white pepper + smoky oak on long finish. It has a tightly concentrated depth of richness and flavors that will evolve into Cabernet "perfection" over the next decade!
