Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Rob Griffin came to Washington over thirty years ago to make wine. In that time he produced award winners for Preston Winery, Hogue Cellars and others until he started Barnard Griffin Winery in 1996. Since then he has continued to turn out top quality, great value Washington wines. This Columbia Valley Syrah is his latest winning achievement, receiving a double gold medal from the San Francisco Chronicle and 90 points in the Wine Spectator . In the Wine Advocate , Jay Miller wrote, “Today Washington is one of the leaders in the production of world-class, Syrah…” , and this wine shows you why. This rich, silky red delivers lively, persistent flavors of blueberry, black cherry and spices in a balanced and supple framework. not sponsored by or affiliated with The Wine Spectator
