Barnard Griffin 2006 Fume Blanc has heightened aromas of lime zest and herbs. The flavors are dominated by ripe melon and faintly grassy hints in the finish. This wine has excellent acidity and fantastic palate impression. This Fume Blanc remains bright on the palate for a finish of herbs and ginger.

This is a lovely bottle, with clean, crisp fruit providing the backbone. Complex flavors of melon, fig and sweetpea, just the right hint of grassiness, and some good, toasty vanilla make for a full-flavored, satisfying bottle.
