Rusty garnet in color getting a little tawny at the rim. Ripe black current, licorice, menthol and pencil lead aromas. Rich and mouth-filling blackberry and current fruit with some cracked pepper and chocolate finishing with dusty, but still noticeable, tannins and good acidity. This must have been a tannic monster at release but has now settled down and is drinking quite well. Given it’s maturity and price point, I think this is a nice value in Cabernet that will hold for another year before decline. 13.1% ABV Natural cork closure Score: 86

Displays deep, persistent dark cherry fruit; subtle blueberry and bittersweet chocolate flavors emerge on the finish. This sleek red's richness nicely offsets its racy structure. Balanced, focused and delicious! Should prove to be a long lived Cab with considerable aging potential. - Rob Griffin, Proprietor-Winemaker

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits pleasing aromas of herbs, spices, violets, and cassis. In the glass it opens to reveal a firm structure, ripe flavors, and moderate length. It is a good value meant for drinking over the next 6 years.

Sleek and silky, with pretty blackberry and floral flavors that linger on the ripe finish. Drink now through 2014.

Ripe and fleshy, this lovely, open-textured red brims with currant and blackberry fruit, lingering on the well-tuned finish. Drink now through 2013.

Forward and tasty, with violets on the nose and a friendly mix of plum, cherry and cassis fruit, dotted with cut tobacco, and finished with exceptionally smooth and polished tannins. There are chocolaty barrel notes and a seamlessness to the whole wine that shouts quality all the way.
