Poor example of sauvignon blanc. This is a non-vintage wine that we had decided to try, we have had various barefoot reserve wines which are lovely. I do not know what went into this wine but it was slightly bitter and lacking in flavor. I would not recommend.
I like this wine. For the price - it's a great all-around, patio sipper. Crisp, refreshing, light. Tangy aftertaste, long finish at back of mouth. Would go great with spicy food.
love it with cheese and fruit
Drinking it right now, I like it!!
External Reviews for Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc
The perfect wine to pack in your picnic basket, Barefoot Sauvignon is full of the flavors of ripe summer fruit. Sweet notes of honeydew melon, juicy nectarine and white pear.
Medium weight, light minerality, clean acidity. Fresh citrus flavors with a hint of jalapeno. A touch of effervescence. - Winery
Fresh and clean with racy acidity and bright citrus; lively and balanced; nervy and long.
Zesty lemon-lime and fresh herb flavors are direct and refreshing, with an intriguing hint of tropical notes on the finish. Drink now.
Another Best Buy from Barefoot, which is able to turn out good wines at giveaway prices. The wine is basically dry, very crisp in acidity and pleasant in lemon, lime, melon, nectarine and honey flavors.
Sweet melon and pithy grapefruit flavors meet in a soft, simple white. Chill it for cocktail hour.
A terrific buy if you’re looking for a bone-dry, crisply acidic and minerally Sauvignon Blanc. It shows rewarding flavors of lemons, limes, spices and vanilla. Very clean and nice, and easy to find, with 338,000 cases produced.
