Barefoot Cellars Zinfandel Sonoma Valley White Zinfandel 2010
Just awful. Tastes like artificially-flavored strawberry soda.
Leader in a weak field. Tastes like apple-flavored soda.
It’s a special type of wine (not fruit punch like others would make you believe) the kind that works mostly in summer, not the type of wine you get for a romantic dinner with your better half but it is perfect for spending that sunny day with your friends in the back yard (particular with the friends who are as budget challenged as you). In the end it is a cheap wine with a sweet and delightful taste.
very smooth and refreshing. It slides down the palette with no speed bumps.
Didn't like at all :(
Good with sea food, bad with strawberry cheesecake lol.
My wife & I came across this wine about a year ago and we haven't looked back. It's an extremely refreshing wine and goes with chicken or pork dish. Many times we just have a glass or two in the evening after a long work day.

Full-bodied with rich notes of ruby red fruit such as ripe cherries and wild raspberries our Lodi Zinfandel will never be called a wallflower. It stands out in a crowd. Well-balanced and smooth, it delivers a deep, fruit-filled aroma and a subtly spicy and long-lasting finish.
Spicy and rugged, with wild blackberry, mulberry, tobacco and bitter chocolate flavors, this everyday Zin is a great buy for a big party. It’ll go great with everything from buffalo wings and pizza to burgers and lasagna.
Lodi — the source for this wine, though the label doesn’t mention it — has become known as a go-to region for good, inexpensive Zinfandels. This berry-rich bottling shows why.
Weddings and block parties come to mind with this wine. At this price, it’s perfect for satisfying large numbers of folks when all they need is a dry, clean, full-bodied, fruity red to wash down everything from fried chicken to BBQ.
Robust in the best way possible. Kicks off with ruby red fruit flavors, like cherries and raspberries, then things get interesting with a hint of spice and a lasting finish. - Winery
An excellent entry level wine; ripe, smooth and inviting; bring on the ribs and the chili.
Clear, dark reddish-purple with a ruby glint, this fresh and rather simple Zin breathes raspberry and blackberry scents, with a less appealing high-toned back note of volatile acidity. Juicy, jammy berry flavors are reminiscent of fruit compote, fruit-forward with sufficient acidity for balance. Simple, luscious, slightly sweet, it’s not a big-style Zin at just 12.5 percent alcohol, but that makes for a more approachable quaff. Apparently a non-vintage wine… I can’t find a year on the label.
