Barefoot Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon California 2011
not very good -- sweet up front -- then bad aftertaste
sour wine... nothing to add. Previously I've tested Merlot from the same shop and it was not bad, so after this bottle I came to conclusion that quality of barefoot is absolutely random.
This is my go-to wine when it is just me wanting a casual glass. I probably would not serve it to company (well, maybe unsophisticated company) but it certainly does the job as a nice table wine. I have certainly had worse at a much higher price tag. Barefoot has lots of nice, drinkable wines for a great price.
This is a very bad wine! If a wine makes you shudder after a drink, it's bad! For about the same price Rex-Goliath is far superior!!!!!!!
Not too shabby for the price.
Paired with beef. Dark and fruity, short, smooth finish. Overall, an enjoyable wine.
Great wine when you pair it with food. Not a good wine to drink on its own.
