Lake Garda is where this Bardolino is from near the town of Bardolino. The nose is lively with soft aromas of red fruit with hints of strawberries and red cherries. The palate is light and fruity with a pleasant touch of acidity and a clean finish making this an easy drinking wine. Corte Olivi is a brand belonging to the Lenotti family whose dedication in the production of quality wines from the Lake Garda region of the Veneto dates back to 1906. The Lenotti familys aim is to reduce levels of oxygen and sulphur in their wines keeping them as fresh as possible. Vintage: 2009 Grapes: 50% Corvina, 40% Rondinella, & 10% Molinara, grown on the hills around the villages of Bardolino on the shores of Lake Garda. Soil: Gravelly of Morainic origin Training: Espalier and Pergola Vinification: Soft pressing, fermentation for 5-6 days at 18-20C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is kept in temperature controlled tanks until sterile bottled. Serve: Throughout a meal with light pasta dishes, white meats and cheese. Can be drunk slightly chilled Colour: Light ruby red Taste: A fragrant fresh and light red wine with an aromatic and pleasantly dry taste. A wine best enjoyed young
