Nose and palate like a Chinon. Very French style. Nice and very tasty! 94 pts. -Wine Spectator Grand Tour 2012
This gets extra points because it's a killer wine from Virginia. Fresh berries on the nose. Solid integrated oak with great pepper and dusty dry tannins. Great with vegetable pizza.
Excellent body, drinks very smooth, one of the best cab francs I've come across.
