Barboursville Brut NV - 02/12/12

This is a Prosecco style sparkling with a nice acidity and fine bubbles. There is a hint of fruit on the finish maybe sour apple that rounds out to a lingering pear taste.

Barboursville Brut NV - 06/13/07

A natural sparkling wine and classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes were soft pressed and cold fermented. Partial aging in new French oak gives a touch of elegant spice in the aroma. Extremely fresh, crisp effervescence, delicate floral apple, pear and banana with an elegant crisp finish. Great wine for appetizers, first course soups, seafood and desserts. Serve well-chilled at 45° F.
