Barbera del Monferrato Folet 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes: In the heart of the Monferrato area the life of the country-dwellers has run parallel to the history of a vineyard planted with Barbera. The grapes harvested here produce a wine which is enlivened by a slight fizz that brings out its touches of youth and fragrante. Its delicacy persists on the nose, with flowery features that continue to permeate its crisp, somewhat acid, but in no way sharp flavour. Soil: tufaceous Date of Harvest: first decade of October Vinification Method: Three months in steel tanks and two months in bottle. Soft pressing and long maceration of pressed at controlled temperature in steel tanks. Alcohol Percentage: 12 % Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l
